Linking Cells or Range of Cells

Is it possible to have a row of cells for instance A1:A8 and whenever A1's
data shows in another location, for instance Sheet2 C1, that it
automatically can populate A2:A8's data into C2:C8? In other words, linking
1 cell but have it drag the others along with it.

easiest way: in C1 enter
='sheet1'!A1
and copy this formula down to C8
