I am in the design master of the database where the table resides and the
only link is to the replica. I have deleted the replica but the tables are
still linked somehow. I went into the relationship window and deleted the
links but access still won't let me add fields.
You can add fields to the linked table by going to the database that the
table is linked to. If you unlink the table, you would still have to make
the changes to the table where the database resides and then relink the
table.
You might want to try synchronize now and to make sure that the database you
are in is the design master. if not you can check a box to make the current
database the design master.
