Linked object font change

I am currently linking objects from a master document that I have created
using set font size (ariel 12pt). When it is linked into the secondary
document (also created from new in ariel 12 pt the linked font changes to
times new roman. Does anyone know why and how to prevent this from
happenning?

Please list the steps you're using to "link objects from a master document"
and tell us the version of Word involved. Are you using STYLES for the
formatting?
