Hi,
I have been trying to get myself familiar with some of the advanced features
of MS Word (don't know whether this one would qualify as an advanced feature
or not).
I read in the Word help that you can create linked objects in a document so
that any updates in the source file will be reflected in the destination
file. I also read that if I click on the "Locked" check box in the Links
dialog box (accessed via the Edit > Links route) then the destination file
would not be updated, when the source file gets updated. But I find that when
I change the font size of text in the source file, it gets reflected in the
destination file. Any answers?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
