Link to Excel through Database Ms Query from a User level secured

Trying from the last one month to link from Excel through Database Query (Ms
Query) from a User level secured Database - accessed by a shortcut, and was
not able to do that, Any one know , how to do that, Thanks
 
Create an ODBC dsn specifying the workgroup, user name and password, and use
that.
