Hi there,

I was wondering if it is possible to have a hyperlink in an excel
spreadsheet that would open an email stored in Outlook (I would like
to have hyperlinks to the emails my clients wrote to me). Could anyone
help me, please?

Regards,

Jack

Jack, the syntax is

outlook: foldername\subfolder/~message subject

In Excel, select a cell and press Ctrl+K. In the Address field of the Insert
Hyperlink dialog box, enter something like "outlook: inbox/~Hi There, Jack."
Note that Excel will probably replace all spaces with "%20," so you can do
this yourself now if you want to. Note, too, that you don't include "FW:" or
"RE:" as part of the message subject. Use the Text to Display field to
create your hyperlink text.
