link form results to Excel.

I know I have done this before but cant remember how I did it.?
I have a registration form on our site and would like to link it to an Excel
file.
I want it to populate with the information someone puts in automatically.

Can some one remind me how that is done?

Try using the "CSV" file format option. Those often open up by default in
Excel.

I do remeber that it has to be in a csv file.
I really need to know how to set up the form folder and then link the form
back to the file.

Under form properties, you select to save the form data in a csv file format in the_private folder.
Then you would open FP and copy the file to your HD as needed.
