link colours

Font colour on Links;

If I add a hyperlink and don't want it to take on the
colours of the visited link that I set in page properties,
do I;

click hyperlink properties / style and apply the colour I
want?

or do I just click on the link and format/ font upper tool
bar, and do it that way?

or does it not matter which way it's done?

Also;

For navigation bars; if I apply a colour to the font
(upper tool bar format font) then when a page is selected
the link in the navigation for that page takes on the
colour I choose. This still allows the page property
settings; ie; link colour and visited colour.

Does this sound right? I appears to work in preview in
browser. THANKS

I use the Font Menu to change font colors of hyperlinks that should be
different from the others on the page. Make sure the font color is set to
automatic first, click apply, then set your color and click apply.
