hyperlink text colour

What should be a small problem I have not been able to solve.

When I go File - Properties - Advanced then tick 'enable hyperlink rollover
effects' I can get any of the 'Effects' to happen and also change 'font',
'font style' and 'size' and they will come into effect on the hyperlinks.
Changing 'colour' does nothing ( I am therefore unsure what this colour box
changes). Disabling 'enable hyperlink rollover effects' does just that so
that works.

If I go File - Properties - Formatting and change the colours of any of the
3 options for hyperlinks nothing happens, the hyperlinks do not become those
colours.

All I would like to do is for the hyperlink to change colour when hovered
over and stay the same size etc.

At the moment I have the font changing size but this is a poor option when
it makes other lines of text jump around.

Also, this is a modification I am wanting to make on my next upload. At the
moment what is on my site is diferent and not relevant.

Can you provide a URL of a problem page so we can get an idea of what could
be going wrong? It could be there's something in the page that's conflicting
with some of the other choices.
