Can you link a macro to a formula?

Example of what I need, not the actual formula:

if A1 = A2 then A3 = Macro 1

I have a drop down list that, when a part number is selected, I need
another cell to bring up a picture in a different cell.

Reply to me privately, and I will send you a workbook that shows a picture based on a cell value.

Take the spaces out and change the dot to .
