lines on a blank doc

I want to put lines on a blank document for handwriting. How?

You could just add a one-column table. Specify a fixed value for the
row height (in Table>Table Properties, Row tab) and add as many rows
as needed. Remove the right and left border lines. Print the document.

Note that if you want to create a document with lines that you can
type on, you can put a table (as above) inside a text box in the
header; it will then repeat on each page, as more pages are added to
the document. Make sure to set the Line Spacing to a suitable amount
(Format>Paragraph, Indents and Spacing tab).

I also do this by applying Bottom and Inside Horizontal borders to a
paragraph (with Exact line spacing) and pressing Enter as required.

Since what you want to do is not very complex, a "quick and dirty" way is to
repeat (say "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa") from the start of the document to the finish,
change the text colour to white, and underline the text. Go to Format>Font,
and choose an underline colour that you want, and lo - lined paper. The
advantage of this is that if you want to change the spacing, just select all
the text on the page, and change the font size....you can also easily change
the underline style, or do it in pale pink (if that's what turns you on).
(Yes, yes, I know - pretty rough...)

Worked a treat OM thanks a lot. Odd that you mention 'pink' and me! I could
tell you a story about that but although funny, it's too long : )
