lines in movie

hi,
when i am using my webcam to capture from my tv screen,
i get lines, some small, some large, on my video. is
there a way to eleminate these lines when capturing from
the tv screen.

Its the difference in frame rates from your computer to the TV. There really
is no way around this with a regular web cam. Most home video cameras have a
shutter speed adjustment, which can alleviate some of these problems.
