Lines and Shading

How do I preserve the lines and shading in my report when it is exported to
Word or as an .rtf file?

good question! I have trouble with that, so if I am going to write to
RTF, I don't use shaded areas (sometimes, they come out black and you
can't see the text in them, other times they don't print at all) -- I
use outlines instead, but they don't always work either

the best way to render the report so it looks like it did in Access is
by using SNP format

Thanks, Crystal! This and a rather involved .pdf file solution are all that
I have been able to find.

What gets me is that Microsoft touts the ability to share info across all of
their apps. We should be able to send Access report output directly into a
Word document, with all formatting intact. It is what my users were hoping
for. Having to use an SNP reader, etc., is not a clean approach. Hello
Microsoft, are you listening? - Osito
