Is there a way to place a horizontal line in a header, so that when I print
the worksheet there is the header and then an underline/double line? I have
been doing this by placing a border on the top of the cells in Row A, but
when I print, sometimes the cells don't span the whole page, so I get half a
line. Is there a way to do this in the header so the line is automatically
the same width as the header area? Thanks.

Hi Dave
AFAIK that is not possible in Excel. You have to stick to your cell
formating or enter underline characters within the header (you have to
experiment with the number of required underlines; approx. 80)

Couldn't you just extend your print area (either File|Print Area) if you can do
it manually.

(Or just put an "invisible formula" (like: ="") in a cell to extend that print
area to the right?)
