All I can get is double spacing when I am writing text. If I highlight the
text and click Format, Paragraph, the line spacing box is NOT highlighted.
In otherwords, I can't click on it. This happens when I'm in a new normal
page or working in a table.

Are you saying that after highlighting text on a page in normal view,
then click on Format, then click on Paragraph, then you don't have a
window pop up with indents and spacing that is clickable to make these
adjustments? If so, you need to read your help files and learn how to
turn that function on.
Check Tools Page Options Authoring and turn on CSS

Thanks! I turned on CSS1.0 (formatting). Do I also turn on CSS2.0
(positioning)?
Now, the Line spacing, Single is highlighted, but I have to put numbers in
Spacing, Before and After boxes each time I turn on FrontPage for the single
spacing to work in my text. Is there a way to get single spacing without
having to enter numbers each time I turn on the program?
Don't use any styles
- just use Shift Enter instead of Enter
