line spacing

Please help. I understand Word governs Outlook. Yesterday EVERYTHING was
working correctly. The problem started today. In Outlook my line spacing is
set to AUTO instead of 0 like it has in Word. Now I can highlight an email in
Outlook and then change the settings. How can I get it permanently off of
AUTO and replaced with 0 for single spacing. I can't fix my signature either.
It previews as single space but when I go to a NEW email it's double spaced.
Again, yesterday it was working properly.

I don't have a solution to your problem, but your post puzzles me;

Word governs Outlook? Outlook can run even if Word is not installed.

I figured it out and corrected the problem. I went to tools in Outlook,
options, mail format and unchecked "use Microsoft Office word to edit email
messages" Thx.
