Hi,

i want to make the line break automatically after evry semicolon i have in
my document. as there are a couple of hundred it would save me a lot of time
and energy.

Use Edit > Replace. Type a semicolon in the Find What box, and type

;^l

in the Replace With box (that's a lowercase ell, not a one). Click the
Replace All button.
