Limiting Share Access to Specific Users

I'm running a small network with three machines (two XP Pro, one XP Home,
all SP2, latest patches). Obviously, since they're all XP, it's set up as a
workgroup rather than a domain. I have a folder on one Pro machine which I
want to share across the network, but only to a specific user. This user has
an account on all three machines.

(note: I'm using the German version, so the wording might not be exact).
The share works, but to all users. On the Sharing tab, when I click on the
User Rights button, I'm asked for the path to the object name to which I
want to grant rights. However, clicking on the Path button, I don't get a
list of all machines in the workgroup, but only the local machine.

Example:
I (user mike on \\NEWCOMP) want to share the folder \\NEWCOMP\sharedstuff.
I want to grant rights to it to user mike on \\DELL and to user mike on
\\LAPTOP, but not to anyone else. Is this possible in a workgroup setup, or
is it only possible under an AD domain?

Thanks,
Mike

In a workgroup, all accounts are local, and you can only specify local
accounts in an access control list. So, on NEWCOMP, give permission
to user NEWCOMP\mike. That permission will apply to user "mike" on
the other computers.
