Limited user account

I have made a mistake. I was in user accounts and changed myself and my
partners accounts to limited. I no longer have an administrator account, do
not have a guest sign in just 2 limited accounts that I can not change to
administrator.

Can someone please help and let me know how to change them back

thanks

Log in as The Administrator. How you do that depends on which version of XP
you have.

Log into the normally-hidden built-in Administrator account. Then go
into the User Accounts applet in Control Panel and make the necessary
changes.

In XP Home, boot the computer into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly
tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to
the right menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not
work here. Once in Safe Mode, you will see the normally hidden
Administrator account. The default password is a blank.

In XP Pro, you do not need to go into Safe Mode. At the Welcome Screen,
do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in
"Administrator" and whatever password you assigned when you set up
Windows.

If you reset the built-in Administrator account's password in Home or
have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the
built-in Administrator account's password to a blank.

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (which
cannot be deleted) and modify the desired account(s) and use Start > Run
"control userpasswords2" to modify the desired account(s). By
design, the only way to log into the Administrator account of WinXP Home
is to reboot into Safe Mode. For WinXP Pro, pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice
at the Welcome Screen will produce the standard login dialog box.

Bless you. I just did pretty much the same thing. I could only log on as a
guest. It bothered me enough finally to actually have a conversation with a
friend about the problem. She said, well I won't tell you what she said.
Thankfully I didn't agree with her assesment and the first place I looked for
more information, the question had already been asked and answered.
This is the nicest thing that has happened to me all day. I'm not even
kidding. Based on a couple similar situations, I had anticipated it taking me
couple of hours.

Soooooo, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for your time and
patience with some of us that really don't want to know any of this.
Bell well.
