Limited user account problems

i've just set a limited user account for my son. when i go on his sign on,
there are only 2 icons on the desktop [aol & ie] and there a no programs at
all that show up. What the heck is going on? I've never seen this before.
Thanks for any help.
 
go to start/run, and type:

%allusersprofile%/

Click the Desktop folder

Drag any shortcuts you want to share into this folder.
