Limited User Account and Internet Access

On Windows XP Home Edition, when I create a user with Limited access, they
cannot access the Internet via MS Internet Explorer. I have no clue why. If
I make the account and Admin account, everything is fine. Where can I change
these settings.

There is no error, it just comes up with page not found.

You may try using an instant messenger or any other application which uses
internet. this helps you identify if the problem is specific to IE or with
TCP.

Ok, AOL Instant Messenger works and other programs connect to the Internet,
just cannot get on with IE if I am a limited user. If I am an Admin user, no
problem. There seems to have to be a setting some place to change this.

Tom, I believe this has something to do with spyware. Scan the system for
parasites and remove them. SpyBot S&D searches your harddisk for Spyware and
Adware

(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)

This will remove malware from the PC
