limited or no connectivity error

I just bought a D-LINK 11 Mbps 802.11b wireless PCI adapter and I installed
it into an old PC running Windows XP Pro. I had just put SP2 on the PC a few
weeks ago and I installed the adapter today. The PCI card is locating the
wireless network entitled "default" and it is actually connecting, however,
a yellow flag is on the network connection icon and it says "Limited or no
connectivity" and I have no access to the internet. I tried downloading the
patch for SP2 from microsft and updating the registry but neither of those
worked. Help please, Thanks!

How ironic. How very ironic. I have a Linksys wireless PCI card/adapter
and I found when I'm having that problem, the best thing to do is to
unplug it, wait ten seconds and plug it back in. It usually works fine
after that, and I don't have many problems out of it. If that doesn't
work, then I don't know what to tell you. Hope that helps a little.
