is there any way to limit simultaneous logins to a w2k
SP4 AD server? I have found some 3rd party references
that note a sql server is required but was thinking it
could be done with other methods.

Thank you.. Please advise.

Jeff,

Chriss is suggesting that you look at cconnect - which is what I would have
suggested. However, it makes use of SQL IIRC. If that is not an option
then I might suggest that you limit the computers onto which your users can
logon to one. This would be accomplished by modifying each user's account.
On the Profile tab there is a logon to... button which is where you would
enter the computer account names. Probably not what you were after! You
could use ldifde for this but it does require that you know the computer
account name. Does everyone have a 'designated' seat and corresponding
computer?

no we are actaully using roaming profiles also on the
LAN.. so I dont think limiting what computer they log
into is an option.

Jeff,

Did not think that it would be a viable option. It was an option,
nonetheless!
