limit on length of restore points?

Is there a limit on how long a restore point is kept? I know there is a
limit on size and that is set within the controls. I went to restore a point
and none are shown, nothing in bold. Where did they go? Has been about a
month since I have done one manually. Any info? Thanks much.

Wow...why ain't I seeing any of the responses? Am using OE 6 as my reader
and in options, I have it to retrieve 600 headers.

You posted it early on 4/30 and now it's 2 1/2 days later. The traffic in
this newsgroup is on the order of 400 a day.

OE, is it suggested that I select the "catch up" from the right click menu
as to not add to the amount of open headers?

With that said, is there anyway anyone can copy to another reply what was
answered? Thanks for your patience, I didn't realize what was going on, but
now I am thinking I understand in terms of the headers and all.

Just download more headers until you see it. Do a Ctrl-H to filter by the
threads you have participated in.

If all else fails search for it using Google Groups Advanced Search. That's
also one good way to search the newsgroups when you're trying to research an
issue. Search in this newsgroup for your name as author. It can be
filtered by keywords, date, subject, author, etc.
