Limit for video file sizes

I cannot import a large video avi file (25GB) into Movie Maker to edit - Is
there a limi on the file size you can import?
 
That's big.
I've not tried to do that.
What file format is the video file?
Where did it come from?
You are using XP and MM v2.1?
