Limewire won't close!

Well, I'm about to tear my hair out. Everytime I shut limewire down, after
about 30 secs, it automatically opens up again. I uninstalled it and
eventually there was peace, but when I re-installed it, same story over
again. Can anybody help me out here?

You probably have a virus. There are quite a number of shared (Limewire) files
that are "fake", and simply install viruses!

At least one virus sets itself up as a "thread" running under Limewire - which
therefore appears to "self-start".

If you click on the Start button, click Run, type "cmd" and enter, what happens?

Can you run Task Manager?

Once you shutdown Limewire, check next to the clock, bottom righthand
corner of screen. See if it still shows a limewire icon. Rightclick it
and click Close - that's it.
