Lime green color

I just added more memory to my dell dimension 8100. When
I restarted the machine a lime green color appeared at
the bottom right corner. How do I get rid of the color.
 
Probably time to degauss the monitor. Look in the manual for the monitor
for instructions for your particular make and model Each is different.
