licensing Windows Server 2003

hello community

this is not a question relating to Word Document but on licensing, can
anybody kindly enlighten me regard this matter: ?

Considering that I have a HPserver with Windows Server 2003 with 5 CAL
(Client access license) and a Web server application residing on this
HPserver.

If I have a scenario where 5 users are concurrently accessing this HPserver
(either accessing files or using other applications) and at the same time a
6th person is trying to access the Web Server through IIS.

Will one of the 6 users be denied access?

Meanig to say, is IIS independent of the Windows Server OS where licensing
is concern.

thanks community for the enlightenment :)

best regards to all

"The community" will gladly point out that this NG is as off-topic for
this question as you can get ... :)

Interestingly, there are a couple of .licence(s) NG in the
microsoft.public. hierarchy, but only in foreign languages!

I suggest you look through a couple of the .windows.server* grops and/or
take a look at the MSFT homepage.

Chances are, to get an authoritative answer, you need to call MSFT
directly ...
