Licensing question

I recently bought an HP laptop with XP Home from Best Buy. Normally, I
would have bought this directly from HP and configured it with XP Pro, but I
had to get it quickly and ended up with the "off the shelf" machine with XP
home installed.

I would like to have XP Pro, but am not excited about the $200 price,
especially since a direct order of a machine from HP would have been only an
additinal $75.

Is anyone aware of a Microsoft marketing channel that could help me resolve
this? I have exhausted ideas on contacting HP and am just looking for a
solution.

Here is a up-grade for $145 and a full retail for $156 Wit
a laptop it would be best to up-grade then burn a image or
a good copy to restore with.
