license server on separate computer?

I'm new to terminal services also. I installed terminal services, can VPN in
and get a desktop. Now I'm looking at the next steps with this and the help
files on licensing tell me, "Configure a Terminal Server License Server on a
computer other than the one on which you have just configured the terminal
server role." Does the license server have to be on another server? I only
have the one server.

No, the license server can be on the same server. Follow the steps in the

Good, thanks. The language in the 2003 server help files sure looks that
way. Worst I coluld do is screw it up....done that before.
