License question: Reformatting harddrive

Hi, I'm thinking of reformatting my harddrive and reinstall Windows XP Home
OEM edition. Since this XP has been activated, then, do I need to activate it
again after reformat? So far, I have no problem with the "dreaded" WGA. I`m
afraid the license will be void after reinstallation.

Could someone pls enlighten me on this?

You can reinstall Windows XP OEM an unlimited number of times on the
same computer.
Attempt internet activation and it will most likely go through.
If it fails, simply choose the option to activate by phone.
Call Microsoft at the displayed number, usually done in about 5
minutes.
