License Error

I have Compaq Laptop with windows XP pro version. The XP crashed and
ran the chkdsk utility on the next run. Since then whenever i try to
log in to the system it give me following error


A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the
license. Error Code: 0x800900006

I can log into the safe mode. But it does not allow me to log into
safe mode with networking.

I checked many article on support forums but none of them worked.
Has any body found resolution to this problem??
