Licence for Access

I run a charity and bought a second hand Office
Professional 97, mainly for Access. It had its key and
Product ID Number.
All the programmes have loaded successfully except
Access! It comes up with a message that says the machine
has not got a licence for Access so won't open it.
Anyone any ideas what to do?

Its something more than being an old disk. I bought a new MS Office 97 and Access did the same to me. Then someone, either at an MS site or at the computer mfg site had a simple answer, unfortunately I don't remember what it was. If you fimd out, please advise as I would like to reload Access 97 on this machine, but fear it will do the same again.
tnx

Hi
If you follow Gary's instructions you get onto a m'soft
support site. I followed their instructions and it's now
up and running.
