Anyone know what this is? Hogs all my processing for minutes and minutes at
start-up, then Zone Alarm warns me it's trying to access the net while I'm
working. Any ideas?

I've run SpyBot's latest on my pc, plus stinger.exe but nothing comes up.

Does it show up in your startup folder? if so untick it and see if it
affects anything at all apart from the hogging.
Then rename it if you can (in safe mode if it won't allow you) and see how
that works, you can always rename it back if its needed for anything but I
doubt it.

HI Marvin

It's not in my startup folder - will run a search and see where it is to see
if this sheds any light!

Ok that's usually where "nasties" lurk, rename the file and restart and see
if that cures the problem

Thanks Marvin

Found it, and eventually got rid of it. My system is now 'clean' and
running well - it'll probably last a few hours now until the next thing gets
past the router firewall, Zone Alaram, Spybot and McAfee! Don't know how
they do it but they do!

Thanks again

Emma
