LG DVD Ram does not detect empty cd

When I use my LG DVD Ram to burn pictures onto it, it does not recognise the
empty cd. It keeps saying to insert empty cd. I have tried many different
empty cds, it keep saying the same thing. The ram works fine when burning
music using my Windows player.
 
Check LG for latest firmware update. Also if you have program like CDClone
tray icon with "hide cdr enabled" that will do it also.
