lexmarkx83 printer

Having difficulty printing. I own a Lexmarkx83 printer.
Also I have checked all possible areas I can think of.
However, I am not exactly computer friendly. I checked
the cartidges; cleaning, alignment, ink is full etc. I am
operating from a hp pavillion 521n PC. The test page for
the ink cartidges printed fine. But, when I want to print
from any other programs I cannot. The print quality is
very faint.

One more thing to check... ensure you have the right height settings to
print on paper, not on envelopes...it sounds as if it thinks the paper you
are asking the printer to print on is much thicker than it is... which would
mean it is printing too high - therefore you are getting the faint output.

Or perhaps you are printing in draft mode.
