Customer Service

Greetings,
Some paper was jammed in the printer so someone pulled it out.
After removing the paper, the printer, after being powered on,
would move the cartridge cradle to the right side of the printer
so fast that it would slam into that side. It would then do the same
thing except all the way to the left side. After it has done that, the
green light beside the power button would blink on and off.
No communication with the printer is possible.
Does anyone know what could have caused this, and what a
possible DIE solution would be?
Cheers!
