I loaded software for a Lexmark P6259 All-in-one but the system does not see
the drivers or that it is connectes to a USB port. Software & Drivers were
downloaded from Lexmark website

Did you follow the installation instructions exactly?

Software is installed _before_ the USB device is connected. The setup tells
you to install software, then connect the printer. If you did this in
reverse the result is what you described. Step #6 of the setup guide
describes plugging in the cable after you install the Windows software.

Uninstall the software. Unplug the printer and the USB cable. Shutdown the
computer for ten seconds (not a reboot). Restart the computer. Install the
printer as described in the guide. Should work.
