Lettering Blends In with the Backround

When I pull up a sight, the lettering is almost the same color as the back
round and I can't make out what anything says.
 
Hi,

Could be a style sheet. Click tools/internet options and on the general tab
click 'accessibility'. See if there is an override here, the boxes should
normally all be blank (unchecked).
