I want to know if it is possible to create a letterhead on Word 2003 and then
set it as defult so that every time you open Word the letterhead appears?

It is certainly possible to create a template that contains a letter head,
but I would suggest that you would not really want it to appear every time
you start Word.

See the articles "Creating a Template – The Basics (Part I)†at:

and "Creating a Template (Part II)†at:

In addition to Doug's suggestion, see also
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm . Put a link to the
template you create on the desktop and click that link to open Word. Do not
even think of putting the letter head in the normal template.
