how many for vista and xp please and how it went
I will not see mine till later this afternoon and I will be out all day and
will not check till around 7pm tonight

I got 8 of them. The update for IE6 failed first time, then it went second
time. I don't use Vista or IE8. Needed a reboot, but except for the little
glitch, all went fine:

weird there are no updates at all for ie8
you would think with the problems with ie8 and spybot s&D and spywareblaster
I thought for sure there would be an update for ie8

in fact i thought ie8 was going to be offered in software updates.
On the computers that i am still running ie7 I did not see this either

there is an update for ie in windows 7 but not in xp unless I just have not
seen it yet

The full rollout of IE8 is not scheduled to show on Windows Update until later this month.

Unless someone running IE7 wants to opt-in now, they would have to manually download
and install from the IE8 home page.

High Robin the updates went fine for me, im running ie8 and Spybot S&D and
Spywareblsater and have had no problems with them. Really like ie8 it works
better than 7 did for me, both other programs are the latest versions and
are fully up to date. Im rnning XP Pro SP3
