Legacy entries in Registry

I have just uninstalled Avast!, the free antiVirus program. It left a
bunch of LEGACY entries in the W2K registry that I'd like to remove.
Regedt won't do it and I'm unfamiliar with Regdt32 Any suggestions

Unless you have some compelling reason to do so it's best to leave the
registry intact. If you must then get in touch with the application
developer.
