left to right scroll bar on G drive

Help!! I have been using this computer at work for a # of
yrs. and today, when I tried to open my G drive which has
all of the files I use daily, some thing was wrong. I
couldn't find the files I usually access daily. After
about 45 minutes of looking and thinking I had finally
gone over the edge into insanity, I finally realized that
the left to right scroll bar on the bottom of the screen
was in the middle of the window instead of on the left
hand side, which is where it always has been when I opened
this drive in the past. I have 3 columns of files and
word documents in this drive. In the past, when I have
opened this drive, it automatically opened w/ the scroll
bar on the left hand side, showing the 1st column. I
don't know what changed, but now it shows the 2nd column
and 3rd column, but the 1st doesn't show. Once I use the
scroll bar to go to the left, the 1st column is in view,
just like it is supposed to be. How do I get things back
to normal so that when I open this drive I will always see
the left hand column automatically? I really need some
help w/ this as it is very annoying and I don't do well w/
change. I need things to stay the way they have always
been. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the
1st x I have used this site and I'm not sure how it works,
but I'm praying that someone will respond to my note.

Are you talking about the File Open window or Windows Explorer? If the
latter, you need to ask in a Windows NG.
