Hi there,

I just installed the PDF converter from Stephen Lebans which works great!

One exception...the PDF file seems to cut off some text in the right margin
of my reports.

When I export to .snp manually, the margin is correct so I think it has to
do with the conversion.

Has anyone experienced this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Josh

Here's an update: The problem continues.

The reports are set to use the default printer which is neither PDF nor
Office document imager.

Do I need to maintain a separate version of each report that is set to use a
compatible printer driver?

Thanks,
Josh

Hello,

I have exact the same issue.

I use the latest ReportToPDF converter from www.lebans.com.

When I use the function in an Access file locally on my PC everthing is all
right. The created PDF is the same as the original Report in my Access
program.
When I use the exact same Access file through a Citrix application server,
the created PDF is not OK. Text in the PDF file is cut off at the right side
of the document. Especially in textboxes where the property "can grow" is
enabled. I tried many things: enlarge the page margins, enlarge the textbox
margins, make textbox size bigger or smaller, .... Nothing seems to help.
I tried to debug the code used by the function to convert an Access report.
To my surprise: the .snp (snapshot) file which is created first by the code
in a temporary map is just all right ! So it seems there goes something
wrong by converting the .snp to a .pdf file. It should be something system
dependent because the same Ms Access files and the inbuild converttoPDF
function gives me a different result depending on the system where I use it.
Could it be a printer property if the converting function is using some
printer? Not certain if there is a printer used?

Hopefully there is a solution for this problem because the converting works
overall quick and stable.

Thanks already,

Kris
