Learning 2.0

Folks -

I'm going to be starting a new VB.NET WinForms project for my company. This
new project will be done in VS 2005. I've been programming in the 1.x
versions of .NET for about three years now, but I've done nothing with 2.0,
and I haven't even really kept up with the info on it. I know that there
are a number of upgrades/updates to version 2.0, and I'm going to need to
get up-to-speed on them pretty quickly.

Can anyone out there recommend any books/websites/etc. that I might go to to
learn the new stuff? I'm leaning towards getting a book, but I don't really
want a "VS 2005 for Dummies" book - I don't necessarily need to start from
Square 1. I don't really want to wade through MSDN for all this either, but
if that's the best resource, let me know that too.

Any help you can provide me would be great. Thanks!

In my opinion the most easiest way for a 1.x guy.

Be aware that from the Data Samples with SQLExpress 75% is not direct
usable. The sample database which are used are mostly Beta ones and not
compatible. For the rest are most very fine to get a quick idea.

I have reported that on more places, I do not know if this is already
changed, however.

I hope this helps,

Cor
