Does your subject indicate that you're trying to open an .ldb file in
Access? That's not a database file, it's the "lock file" that Access
uses to keep track of who has what tables, pages or records locked in a
database. You would not be able to open such a file in Access.
On the other hand, if you're talking about some other file you can't
open, please explain in more detail and tell what error message you get.
