Not necessarily... "DVI" refers to the plug in general.

DVI-D refers to a degital version of DVI. DVI-A is analog. DVI-I in an
interface that will accept both -D and -A.

and the other is a 29-pin digitial connector
dont know which one is exactly and I dont want to mess you up but that is the
difference
