LCD panel

Good evening,

Since last few days my machine having some problems and now it is completely
stop. My machine is Compaq Presario 1700, P III 850 MHz 256 ROM, Windows XP
pro SP I. First couple of times it crashed when I was online and but I was
able to access safe mode by chance. The last time I was not able to use
quick restore CD then it did not show any signal on the LCD panel. I never
ever have such type of problems before. The LCD Panel shows nothing and no
Compaq logo, whenever I push the on button I hear the harddisk but no light
or any signal on the LCD Panel. The same hardisk when I used to another
computer it works. Again I change the harddisk but the situation remains as
usual. CD rom drives is seems to be ok but the floppy drive is seems to be
not responded.

Please kindly help me to fix this problem.

Good morning,

I heard about the motherboard battery however I do not know whether laptop
computer has motherboard battery or not. Please kindly help me still now I
cannot start up my maching, the LCD Panel cannot get any signal and the
keyboard is also not working.
