Lcd Monitor problems after servive patch 1

After I did all the upgrades on the windows site, my LCD
monitor will not work. It will show th epost screen and
the splash screen but when XP starts the monitor turns off.
I tried a Crt monitor and that works fine. Any help would
be appreciated.
 
Try removing or uninstalling the video drivers and reboot so xp can
reinstall fresh drivers.
