LCD Monitor Problem

When an LCD Monitor is connected to my PC it goes into an unrecoverable
hybernation after 20 mins, even while I am working. When connected to CRT
Monitor it works as it should. I have adjusted the powersave settings, but
still not change in performace.

I have swapped out both the LCD Monitor and the video card for a new ones,
but I am continuing to have the same problems.

What would cause a LCD Monitor to hybernate, but not a CRT Monitor?

Hiberbation was designed for Laptops. Why don't you use the Standby feature
instead?

Yes, I did install the drivers. I have had this PC for 2 Years. This
problem just began a few weeks ago.

Most all LCD monitors have a "Reset" function in their OSD
(On Screen Diagnostics). It will reset the monitor back to it's
default values. If something in it's settings has changed, doing
this might help.

Thanks McCarty,

Can you tell me where to find the On Screen Diagnstics?
You will access this from a button on your monitor. This has nothing to
do with the computer. Look at the monitor manual or go to the mftr.'s
website and look for tech support documents.
